This seven-session Keeping Marriages Healthy course is facilitated by David & Michele Sandstrom beginning April 10, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. CST. This course is the perfect event for you and your partner to do together to grow in connection and intimacy. You will hear from the presenters as they tell their story, experiences, and wisdom learned over the years. There will be many opportunities for you and your partner to share stories together, celebrate with one another, and comfort each other through the difficult moments of life. We are confident this will be a deeply impactful experience for you both.
Each of the seven weeks are structured the same:
Hour 1: Experiencing and sharing the session together.
Last 1/2 hour: Facilitated discussion
***Each couple will be shipped 2 Keeping Marriages Healthy workbooks. Please allow 3-5 days for shipping after registration.
Intimacy in Marriage
In this session, we will discuss what intimacy is, and what is means to know someone deeply and to be known by them.
What Do We Really Need From Each Other?
In this session, we will discuss relational needs and if they are being met.
What Is Filling Your Emotional Cup? Part 1
In this session, we will discuss when our relational needs are met, we experience intimacy; when our needs are unmet, we experience hurt and loss.
What Is Filling Your Emotional Cup? Part 2
In this session, we will discuss how you help heal the hurts you have caused your marriage partner.
The Family Tree
In this session, we will discuss how one of the most significant ways we develop intimacy is by leaving behind certain things from our family of origin.
Break Free From Unhealthy Thinking
In this session, we will discuss how one of the additional impacts from our growing up years relates to our thinking patterns.
Intimacy Becoming a Way of Life
In this session, we will discuss how in healthy marriages, couples take the time and are intentional about investing in their relationship.
